As Chairman of the Board or as Board Director, Niels advises tech companies and corporate spin-offs on all corporate, organisational and product-strategic issues concerning the companies.

Niels has acquired his knowledge and experience in US tech-corporates such as Google Inc., Scout24 Group, Media Markt and as entrepreneur and founder of HolidayInsider AG (trade-sale September 2014) and Ryte GmbH (former OnPage.org GmbH). Niels was awarded his MBA at the age of 23 by Cooperative State University (DHBW) Heidenheim.

Niels founded Ryte GmbH (former OnPage.org GmbH) in 2012 with his co-founders Marcus Tandler, Andreas Bruckschlögl and Merlin Jacob and has since supported the management during their growing business as an advisory board member. He is an advisory board member in various Tech Companies. In addition he is an experienced and passionate keynote speaker.

Niels has received many awards, amongst others an OC Award from Google (for innovation at Google), „Finalist Entrepreneur of the Year“ from Ernst & Young, „Top 3 Finalist Deutscher Gründerpreis“ from ZDF, Porsche Consulting and Sparkassen Verband and „Top 100 Innovator in Germany“ from Mittelstands Summit, High Tech Gründerfond and Dr. Roland Berger and Top 3 Finalist of „Deloitte Fast 50“.

Niels loves his big family distributed across the Hanseatic town of Stade on the edge of „Altes Land“, the small seaside town of Porto Rafti close to Athens, Cape Town, Oslo and his Bavarian home Munich. He has been married for 20 years with a greek „Münchner Kindl“, is the father of a smart son and enjoys DIY and renovating property. Interior architecture and photography are his big passions.
